Hospitality is in our DNA

In March of 1988, John Policastro opened Mamma Mia – a small, dine-in pizzeria that quickly blossomed into a beloved local stalwart. John attributes much of Mamma Mia’s success to his grandmother, who instilled a love and appreciation for gracious hospitality within him.

Over the course of twenty nine years, Mamma Mia firmly rooted itself at the center of Hackensack’s culinary scene, which inspired John to pursue expansion. Mamma Mia’s delivery service seamlessly segued into Personal Touch Catering, which in turn evolved into Personal Touch Experience.

Family

Throughout this expansion, John has remained true to his appreciation for family – with his daughter at the helm of his experience team, along with one of his original chefs Jorge and hospitality experts Edgar, John has shaped one of New York City’s premier event companies.

Despite our continued growth, our humble beginnings still define our approach towards providing world-class hospitality. Accordingly, we pride ourselves on creating an experience that is profoundly thoughtful and exceptionally delicious – just as John’s Grandmother taught him.
